Why is it Eco-Friendly?

• 100% Biodegradable: Unlike plastic, jute decomposes naturally in a few months, leaving no toxic residue behind.
• Carbon Neutral: Jute plants absorb more $CO_2$ than they emit. One hectare of jute can absorb about 15 tons of carbon dioxide in just 100 days.
• Soil Fertilizer: Jute acts as a natural soil conditioner. Its fallen leaves and roots decay into the soil, increasing fertility for future crops (like rice).
• Minimal Chemical Use: It grows very fast (4–6 months) and requires very little pesticide or fertilizer compared to cotton.

Reduces Deforestation: Jute sticks (the inner core) are used as fuel and to make paper/furniture, which saves millions of trees every year.
